Messages × Meta's marketing rate for the country
A bulk WhatsApp campaign on the official API is a marketing template sent to opted-in contacts. Meta charges for each delivered message, so the cost is simply the number delivered times the marketing rate of the country you send to. Undelivered messages aren't charged by Meta.
Rates vary a lot by country: on Meta's card effective 1 October 2026, a marketing message costs $0.0109 in Turkey and $0.1597 in Netherlands. Order and delivery updates are utility messages, which cost much less.
What you pay on top depends on your provider. Mywa charges $14.99/month flat and lets Meta bill messages directly at its official rate, so 10,000 messages cost what Meta charges, and nothing more.

Not on the official API. Meta charges each delivered marketing message. The WhatsApp Business app's broadcast lists are free but only reach contacts who saved your number, and unofficial bulk-sending tools risk getting the number banned.
